If you’re concerned about congestion at Mineral and Santa Fe and protection of South Platte Park, you’ll be interested in this.
Here is tangible evidence of developers wanting to develop Mineral and Santa Fe environs to look like LoDo.
The following link is from the City of Littleton’s website. It has drawings from an upcoming concept plan that would do that.
The fifth frame has architectural renderings of the high-density concept plan design.
If you want to know how to get to the above link, go to: http://www.littletongov.org
[] Then click on the blue box—“Development Activity List”[] Next click on “Full Version”[] When the map comes up, enlarge it and click on the orange colored “Concept Meeting” icon immediately SW of the Mineral-Santa Fe intersection.
Curiously, Littleton’s Planning Commission had a study session last night (1/23/2017) with Urban Drainage regarding flood control (part of the Ensor property is in the floodplain).
Also just heard, but have not yet seen nothing in writing, that there is to be an upcoming meeting about this at Carson Nature Center on 1/31 at 6:30pm. Update: the meeting will be at 6:30 but at Hudson Gardens. (1/30/2017)

Have you been able to confirm this meeting regarding the Ensor property?

Evon, we know the developer has reserved the Carson Nature Center for the evening and we know of a few that have been invited. And we know others will attend because they live close by and/or are just interested. We are hoping the door will be open to all.

Evon – we have been able to confirm that the meeting begins at 6 and not 6:30 as written earlier. I have still not seen an invitation and since the developer only sent it to those that owned property within 1,000 feet of the area we really don’t know who got them. If you don’t want to miss anything I would suggest we assume that the 6pm time is good.
